WHAT TO EXPECT
STEP 1 — INQUIRE & BOOK
Reach out through the contact form to get started. You’ll receive a booking link with your contract and questionnaire. Once those are completed and your retainer is paid, your in-home newborn session is officially reserved.
STEP 2 — PLAN YOUR SESSION
After booking, you’ll receive my in-home session guide with tips for preparing your home, wardrobe, and family. We’ll also discuss which rooms photograph best, who will be included, and the overall feel you want for your session.
STEP 3 — YOUR IN-HOME SESSION
I’ll come to your home and gently guide your family while keeping the experience relaxed and natural. We’ll focus on connection, cuddles, everyday moments, and your baby exactly as they are, with breaks for feeding or soothing whenever needed.
STEP 4 — SELECT & RECEIVE
After your session, you’ll receive an online proofing gallery to select the images included with your package. Your chosen images are then fully retouched and delivered in your final online gallery.

When should I book my in-home newborn session?
I recommend booking during pregnancy so I can reserve space around your due date. Once baby arrives, we’ll finalize the exact session date.
What is the best age for an in-home newborn session?
In-home lifestyle sessions are flexible and can be photographed beyond the traditional two-week newborn window. The focus is on connection, your family, and this season as it naturally unfolds.
Do I need a perfectly decorated home?
Not at all. I look for the best natural light and meaningful spaces in your home, such as the nursery, bedroom, or living room. Your session guide will help you prepare without overthinking it.
What should we wear?
You’ll receive styling guidance before your session. Soft, neutral, and coordinating colors usually photograph beautifully and help keep the focus on your family and baby.
Can siblings and pets be included?
Yes. Parents, siblings, and pets are welcome and included in the session.
Do you bring newborn props for in-home sessions?
In-home sessions are lifestyle-focused rather than posed studio sessions. I keep styling natural and centered around your home, your baby, and your family connection.
What if my baby is fussy or needs to eat?
That’s completely expected. Sessions are relaxed and unhurried, with plenty of time for feeding, soothing, diaper changes, and breaks whenever needed.
When will I receive my images?
After your session, you’ll receive an online proofing gallery to select the images included with your package. Your chosen photographs are then fully retouched and delivered in your final online gallery.
