Splash Session — $75
Add a fun splash session at the end of your birthday or cake smash experience.
Balloon Garland — $75
Add a custom balloon garland to your selected background setup.
Additional Images — $30/image
Additional fully edited digital images may be purchased from your proofing gallery.
Cake Add-On
A simple white or naked cake may be added upon request, or clients are welcome to bring their own cake.
Please note: Balloon garland and splash session are already included with the SMASH PREMIUM package.
WHAT TO EXPECT
STEP 1 — INQUIRE & BOOK
Reach out through the contact form to get started. You’ll receive a booking link with your contract and questionnaire. Once those are completed and your retainer is paid, your child’s session is officially reserved.
STEP 2 — PLAN YOUR SESSION
After booking, we’ll plan the details of your session together. For milestone sessions, we’ll discuss outfits and the overall look. For Birthday & Cake Smash sessions, we’ll also finalize the theme, background, styled props, and any add-ons.
STEP 3 — YOUR SESSION
Your session will be relaxed and child-led, with time for breaks, outfit changes, and settling in as needed. I’ll guide your child throughout the session while keeping the experience fun and comfortable.
STEP 4 — SELECT & RECEIVE
After your session, you’ll receive an online proofing gallery to select the images included with your package. Your chosen images are then fully retouched and delivered in your final online gallery.

What is the difference between a Milestone Session and a Birthday & Cake Smash Session?
Milestone Sessions are simple, timeless portrait sessions without a custom themed setup. Birthday & Cake Smash Sessions are more styled and can include custom backgrounds, props, cake smash images, balloon garlands, and splash-session options depending on the package selected.
What ages are Birthday & Cake Smash Sessions for?
These sessions are designed for ages 1–3, so they’re perfect for first, second, and third birthday celebrations.
What types of sessions count as Milestone Sessions?
Milestone Sessions are ideal for sitter portraits, baptism or christening portraits, yearly child portraits, simple birthdays without a custom theme, and other meaningful childhood stages.
Are outfits included?
Select outfits from the client closet are available depending on the package. You’re also welcome to bring your own outfits, and I can help guide you with styling before the session.
Is the cake included?
Cake is not included unless added separately. You’re welcome to bring your own cake, and I can provide guidance on size, style, and colors that photograph well.
Can I customize the birthday theme?
Yes. Birthday & Cake Smash Sessions are planned around your selected theme and package. We’ll discuss colors, background, props, and styling before the session.
Can parents or siblings be included?
The main focus is your child. If you’d like to include siblings, parents, or extended family, please inquire so we can determine the best package and any applicable additional fee.
What if my child is shy or needs a break?
Sessions are child-led and relaxed. We allow time for your child to warm up, take breaks, change outfits, or reset as needed.
When will I receive my images?
After your session, you’ll receive an online proofing gallery to select the images included with your package. Your selected images are then fully retouched and delivered in your final online gallery.
